Sea Hag's Artist Gallery

Sea Hag is proud to represent the work of many talented local and regional artists and crafts people.

birdhousewAmong the items you may find if you come out and visit barn gallery are paintings, pottery, glass, mixed media, woodwork, furniture, baskets, fabric art, clothing, whimsy, jewelry, metal work, Ukrainian egg work, hooked and woven rugs, toys, quilts, soybean and beeswax candles and weaving.

We also consider home baking to be an art so you may find baked goods and breads when you come to visit us.

The items you see on this page represent some of the one of a kind items that have been featured in the Sea Hag Gallery in the past. They give you some idea of the quality of work you can expect to see when you visit us in person.

We have begun featuring here a selection of the items that are currently on display in our gallery.

A Special Note to Artists and Vendors!

New Artist & Vendors: - Are you interested in showing your work or wares at Sea Hag? We would be happy to discuss this with you, but please be aware that we must ask you to follow a few simple rules.

  • NO WALK-INs PLEASE. Contact us before your visit to set up an appointment.
  • Please send us some digital photos of your work. Email us at: colleen@seahagsoaps.com

We have a jury of people who decide if new work or wares are a good fit for the shop. If we think your art or product is a good fit, we will contact you with some choices of times for you to bring your things in for a close-up view.

Basic rules for Existing Artists & Vendors and New Artists & Vendors who would like to be involved with Sea Hag Soaps & Art Mercantile.

  • Please remember that we are both a retail shop and a manufacturing facility. The nature of our manufacturing process does not allow for unplanned interruptions.
  • Weekends are for selling to CUSTOMERS and as Sea Hag has continued to grow (which is good) we've had to start requiring Artists & Vendors to schedule appointments with us ahead of time. As a courtesy to us and to our schedule we'd REALLY appreciate a phone call before showing up.
  • If you have new items to bring in or you need to pick up your things that you have here. Please call us first. It's hard to drop what we're doing and change gears.
  • We've been trying to schedule all appointments on Wednesdays. If Wednesdays are not possible for you, we can work around that but please call first to discuss this.
  • Phone us at 570-663-2297 and ask for Colleen, Bridie or Kristi to make an appointment.

Thanks for your understanding. We want to be able to give you the undivided attention we know you need and your work deserves.

Thanks for your continued support
